Sure we are seeing this when we try to logon with a user account, still the root cause is the computer object. Windows 7 no longer uses netdom, it instead has a PowerShell cmdlet called " Add-Computer ".

ALSO, someone made the comment that if it was moved' to another compouter it would not work also, I will verify that statement also.
We did uninstall KB, restart and then uninstall KB and we did recover old netdom. I think the zip file contains the netfom bit version of these programs. Many times these snapshots are older than 30 days and now and then I run into this small and annoying issues. I made sure to download the files to the folders you listed, and I ran CMD as an administrator.

sindows I do this with a script: The known bug has been fixed with this update. Microsoft has described this in more detail in this support article.
For update KB it says:. Powershell v3 ships with the latest version of Windows and can be downloaded from Microsoft: Your email address will not be published.
However, since there were issues with these updates on systems with foreign antivirus programs installed, the information or fix has probably not yet reached all administrators.
